This position is also responsible for quality checks, assembly, packaging, labeling, and moving of product.2nd shift schedule is Monday - Thursday 3:45pm - 1:45amResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Inspect, trim, clean, and package products to customer specificationsOperate hand equipment and tools used in the assembly processEnsure quality products are being produced by following work instructions and inspecting partsRead and understand Operational Quality Inspections (OQI's)Ability to use measuring equipment (gauge pins, calipers, tape measure)Maintaining daily production ratesCommunicate issues with equipment, material, or processesPerform assembly and secondary operationsSupport and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard workPartner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and financeUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serveEnsure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properlyParticipate in required company meetingsMaintain an organized work area (5S)Participate in the Operational Excellence ProgramQualificationsPosition Requirements:Ability to work in a fast-paced team environmentOrganizational skillsAttention to detailClear and effective verbal and written communication skillsMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)Ability to cross train in other areas of production when requiredAbility to use a microscope and operate hand toolsDexterity and hand and eye coordinationKnowledge of basic math conceptsAbility to prioritize and multitask*Perferred Requirements:* 1 year of manufacturing experiencerms Company BenefitAs a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
