ASSEMBLY OPERATOR III(Welder)

TE Connectivity’s ASSEMBLY OPERATOR III Welder is responsible for operating CNC-controlled EB welding equipment to produce high-precision welds on advanced materials. This role supports production and process development through weld optimization, equipment maintenance, and adherence to strict quality and safety standards. Job Requirements Essential duties include but may not be limited to the following: Operate CNC-controlled electron beam (EB) welding machines, including part setup and alignment Develop, maintain, and evaluate weld schedules to ensure consistent weld quality Perform machine maintenance, calibration, and testing Weld a variety of materials including titanium, stainless steel, copper, C103, and Inconel Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and weld specifications Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain organized work areas (5S) Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED 1+ years of TIG welding experience or completion of an accredited welding program Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of electron beam welding experience Experience with high- and low-voltage equipment Experience with manual and robotic welding system sStrong TIG welding background Knowledge of AWS D17.1 standards Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY TE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future. COMPENSATION Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $23 (subject to change dependent on physical location) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
