Job OverviewTE Connectivity’s ASSEMBLY OPERATOR III Welder is responsible for operating CNC-controlled EB welding equipment to produce high-precision welds on advanced materials. This role supports production and process development through weld optimization, equipment maintenance, and adherence to strict quality and safety standards.Job RequirementsEssential duties include but may not be limited to the following:Operate CNC-controlled electron beam (EB) welding machines, including part setup and alignmentDevelop, maintain, and evaluate weld schedules to ensure consistent weld qualityPerform machine maintenance, calibration, and testingWeld a variety of materials including titanium, stainless steel, copper, C103, and InconelRead and interpret manufacturing drawings and weld specificationsMaintain compliance with quality, safety, and operational standardsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and maintain organized work areas (5S)Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED1+ years of TIG welding experience or completion of an accredited welding programPreferred Qualifications2+ years of electron beam welding experienceExperience with high- and low-voltage equipmentExperience with manual and robotic welding systemsStrong TIG welding backgroundKnowledge of AWS D17.1 standardsCompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, TeamworkAbout Te ConnectivityTE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
