Lifeguard Position The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has openings for Lifeguards. The successful candidate will need to:Strong work ethic and the ability to work well with co-workers;Ability to perform well without direct supervision;Ability to swim well;Excellent knowledge of first aid, lifesaving, and rescue work as applied to accidents in the water;Able to enforce compliance with pool rules and regulations and ensure the safety and welfare of all within the pool area;Ability to work well with children and adults;Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills;Demonstrate excellent observation skills and mental alertness.
