We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a short‑term travel assignment in Detroit, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be proficient in IR procedures, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the imaging team. Shift: Days – 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (5x8, 40 hrs/week)
Contract Length: 4 Weeks
Weekly Gross Pay: $4,206

Responsibilities
Assist physicians with a variety of IR procedures (e.g., angiograms, biopsies, drain placements, vascular access)
Operate fluoroscopic and digital imaging equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Prepare sterile trays, instruments, and contrast materials
Ensure accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
Maintain a sterile and safe procedural environment
Follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal workflow
RequirementsCertifications & Licenses (Required)
ARRT (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
ARRT (VI) or (CI) preferred
State of Michigan Radiologic Technologist License (if applicable per facility; MI often requires LARA licensure for operators)
BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience
Experience in a hospital-based IR department preferred
Strong ability to work independently in procedure rooms

Setting: Hospital-based IR Department
Hours: 40 hours/week (Day shift, 7a–3p)
Duration: 4‑week assignment
Compensation: Weekly gross pay of $4,206
Travel & Housing: Stipends included based on GSA guidelines (if applicable)
