Director of DevOps

Director - DevSecOps EngineerLead the architecture and execution of secure, scalable software delivery platforms across embedded flight systems, autonomy stacks, and cloud infrastructure. Own DevSecOps strategy, enabling high-velocity development within safety-critical, regulated environments. The impact of the role will focus across enablement of rapid and compliant software development, to drive scalable and secure engineering veolcity. Core ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement end-to-end DevSecOps frameworks across embedded and cloud platforms.Build and scale CI/CD pipelines with integrated security (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning).Drive adoption of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and policy-as-code.Secure Software LifecycleEstablish secure SDLC across engineering teams.Integrate automated testing, validation, and release controls.Enable reproducible, traceable builds aligned with certification requirements.Support embedded flight software, autonomy/AI pipelines, and cloud systems.Align with DO-178C and DO-326A standards.Lead threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response.Support certification and audit readiness (FAA/EASA).Cloud & Platform EngineeringArchitect and operate secure cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).Lead Kubernetes platforms, containerization, and orchestration.Implement zero-trust security, IAM, and secrets management.Drive observability: logging, metrics, tracing.Required Experience12+ years in DevOps / DevSecOps / Platform Engineering.Strong CI/CD, cloud, Kubernetes experience.Experience in safety-critical systems.Certified software environments.Autonomy, robotics, or AI/ML exposure.
