Shift ManagerAs part of the Subway Team, you will focus on six main things:Providing an excellent guest experienceEnsuring that great food is prepared & servedKeeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautifulControlling inventoryScheduling and supervising staffBeing a team playerIn addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist, key parts of your day to day will consist of:Cascading training to Sandwich Artists on existing and new responsibilitiesScheduling and supervising staffPracticing inventory control standardsEnsuring equipment is in proper working order during shiftCompleting paperwork as neededAs a Subway Team Member, you'll have access to:Brand partnership discountsScholarship opportunitiesOpportunity to earn university course creditsHands on career experience in a restaurant businessPREREQUISITES Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Communication and organizational skills Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday.
