Req 49462 Mainframes Developer - Contract to Full-Time job role - remote (going to office once in a while) DMV Area is must - 1 Virtual and 1 Inperson Interviews - backfill job position (need to fill in ASAP)The client is seeking a hybrid Mainframe Developer who possesses deep expertise in legacy COBOL environments (CICS, JCL, TSO/ISPF) alongside AI MLExperience with AI/ML (GIT/Bitbucket) tools is required to help automate and modernize documentation, signaling a need for someone who can bridge traditional mainframe systems with emerging AI-driven practices.They require experience with cloud technologies (AWS), Agile/Scrum, DevOps with continuous integration, and working knowledge of web services (RESTful/SOA).Experience with Java and Spring ecosystem skills (Core, Boot, MVC, Integration) for building and testing modern applications will be a huge plus.Additionally, the ideal candidate should have a healthcare core systems background, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.Key Skills: Mainframes (COBOL, CICS, JCL, TSO/ISPF), AI ML (GIT, Bitbucket), AWS and Healthcare Claims Systems/IndustrySomeone who is Mainframes Developer with mandatory hands on AWS Cloud environment and AI/ML experience (for modernizing documentation) from a healthcare core systems background and Java as a nice-to-have.
