Vice President of Finance

Flagler Health is building the clinical operating system for modern musculoskeletal care. We partner with MSK provider groups and specialty clinics to help them grow, operate more efficiently, and deliver better longitudinal care across patient acquisition, clinical workflows, and ongoing patient engagement. Our platform sits at the intersection of care delivery and clinic operations, helping providers capture more value across the full patient lifecycle. We've recently raised our Series B and are entering our next phase of growth. We’re hiring a Head of Marketing to build and scale the marketing engine that will drive that growth. This is a pipeline and revenue role. Success means generating high-quality pipeline from the right provider groups, and helping convert that into revenue in a complex, trust-driven market. Role We're hiring our first VP of Finance to own the full finance function, FP&A, accounting, treasury, and strategic finance, and partner with the executive team on our next fundraise, M&A activity, and operating model. Key Responsibilities FP&A: Build the forecasting, budgeting, KPIs, and management reporting infrastructure from the ground up. Fundraise Leadership: Lead the next fundraise end-to-end, including investor narrative, materials, modeling, diligence, and term sheet negotiation. M&A Execution: Drive M&A strategy and execution end-to-end: sourcing, diligence, structuring, negotiation, close, and integration. Strategic Finance: Partner with leadership on capital allocation, pricing, unit economics, and complex deal structuring with the commercial team. Accounting & Controls: Own the accounting function, monthly close, audit readiness, internal controls, and the financial systems that scale with the business. Treasury & Cash Management: Manage cash, working capital, debt facilities, and runway. Board & Investor Reporting: Run the board reporting cadence and serve as the primary finance counterpart to investors and lenders. Team Leadership: Hire, develop, and scale the finance organization. Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Sales, Operations, Clinical, and Engineering to translate strategy into financial accountability. Requirements 8+ years of progressive finance experience spanning strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, or a comparable mix. Strong technical chops across financial modeling, GAAP fundamentals, capital structure, and unit economics. Exceptional written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to a board, an investor, or an operating leader. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Non-Functional Skills & Cultural Fit Charismatic and credible leader who can inspire teams while earning trust with investors and the board. Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is comfortable operating through ambiguity. Highly execution-oriented with a willingness to roll up sleeves and stay close to the work. Balances strategic thinking with operational discipline. Preferences Healthcare, health tech, or other regulated industry experience is a plus, not a requirement. Built FP&A from scratch. Closed an M&A deal (or been deep in one). Has grit. #J-18808-Ljbffr
