Receiving Associate The Receiving Associate plays a crucial role in accepting, inspecting, and unloading incoming aluminum products, such as plates, sheets, and bars, in a dynamic aerospace service center environment. This position involves verifying shipments against purchase orders, managing inventory through computer systems, and strictly adhering to safety regulations, with regular operation of sitdown forklifts.ResponsibilitiesUnload trucks and inspect shipments for any damage or discrepancies.Verify material quality and certifications.Process receiving paperwork and enter data into warehouse management systems.Report any damaged goods.Use forklifts and overhead cranes to move heavy metal materials to designated storage areas.Ensure accurate stock identification and placement.Maintain a clean workspace and follow all safety protocols in a metal distribution environment.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating a sitdown forklift.Experience in material handling, picking, shipping, and receiving.Ability to use RF scanners for inspection of parts.Strong data entry skills and inventory management.Capability to lift boxes and perform packaging tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be able to lift up to 60 lbs.Experience in shipping/receiving or an industrial environment, preferably with metal experience.Strong communication and organizational skills.Why Work Here?Enjoy a range of benefits and insurance upon becoming a permanent employee, with a 401k matching up to 3% and a bonus structure. The facility includes panel and table saws, forklifts, and other industrial equipment. The dress code includes jeans or work pants, steel toe boots or shoes, and a plain t-shirt.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
