Builder Specialist

Position OverviewThe Builder Specialist is responsible for coordinating field communication with builders while ensuring high‑quality installation and seamless logistics execution. This role bridges operations between construction sites, installation partners, and internal logistics/supply chain teams to support on‑time delivery, accurate product (or appliance) handling, and consistent installation quality.Key Responsibilities1. Field Communication & Builder CoordinationAct as the primary liaison for builders, site managers, and installation vendors regarding scheduling, delivery plans, and installation readiness.Collect and communicate field requirements (delivery constraints, site access rules, staging needs) to internal logistics and operations teams.Support planning and alignment of installation schedules based on delivery timelines and site progress.Ensure builder business needs related to delivery sequencing, product (or appliance) drop points, and site logistics are captured and incorporated into internal processes.2. Logistics & Product (or appliance) Flow ManagementCoordinate with Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Transportation teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of installation products (or appliances) and equipment.Monitor field inventory levels, manage shortages, and prevent delays caused by missing or incorrect product (or appliance)s.Verify delivery accuracy at site, address discrepancies, and escalate issues when needed.Review last‑mile delivery challenges, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance site logistics.3. Installation Quality OversightConduct installation quality audits according to company guidelines and industry standards.Provide feedback to installation partners on workmanship, compliance, and consistency.Identify quality trends or recurring installation defects and collaborate with Logistics, Technical, and Quality teams for corrective actions.Support development or refinement of installation manuals, quality criteria, and field operation guidelines.4. Issue Resolution & Technical Field SupportProvide first‑level technical and operational support for installation or logistics‑related issues on-site.Investigate root causes of field problems (e.g., delivery errors, product (or appliance) damage, installation defects) and propose preventive measures.Conduct on-site training for installers or logistics partners regarding handling, storage, and installation standards.5. AdditionalPerform pre-site visits and jobsite readiness checks to ensure installation conditions, infrastructure, and site environments meet required standards prior to service execution.Assess daily installation capability based on the construction circumstancesQualificationsRequired6+ years experience in construction operations, field service, logistics coordination, or installation supervision.Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with builders and logistics teams.Understanding of product (or appliance) handling, delivery coordination, or construction site workflow.Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple field tasks simultaneously.Ability to travel frequently to job sites; valid driver's license.PreferredExperience working with builders, general contractors, or logistics/installation service providers.Knowledge of supply chain processes such as inventory control, last‑mile delivery, or warehouse operations.Technical certifications or experience in installation, construction, or field engineering.Core CompetenciesField execution & responsivenessStrong logistics and coordination capabilityQuality and compliance mindsetCross‑functional collaboration (Supply Chain, Operations, Installation Partners, Sales)Ownership and accountability
