CTMS Administrator Lead (ONCORE)

We're seeking a CTMS Implementation leader to support and enhance our clinical research operations through expert management of the OnCore Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and its supporting infrastructure. In this role, you'll ensure our research teams have a reliable, secure, and high‐performing environment to manage studies, participants, regulatory workflows, and trial data. This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and clinical research and enjoys partnering with cross‐functional teams to keep critical systems running smoothly.What You'll Do:+ Manage installation, configuration, monitoring, testing, and maintenance of operating system workstations and servers that support OnCore and related clinical research applications.+ Ensure system stability, security, and performance across the OnCore environment, including integrations with EHRs, financial systems, and research platforms.+ Evaluate new tools, system enhancements, and technology solutions that improve clinical trial operations and user experience.+ Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, including mentoring and oversight of temporary or project‐based staff.+ Apply system updates, patches, and configuration changes to maintain compliance with institutional policies and research regulatory requirements.+ Oversee data backup, recovery, and continuity processes for OnCore and associated systems.+ Monitor system performance and proactively tune environments to support high‐volume research activity.+ Partner with clinical research coordinators, regulatory staff, and data managers to troubleshoot complex issues related to system access, workflows, and integrations.+ Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, system documentation, and audit‐ready records.+ Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with licensing, configuration standards, and security guidelines.What You Bring+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.+ Strong understanding of operating systems, system security, server administration, and enterprise software environments.+ Experience supporting complex applications or platforms in a regulated environment (healthcare, research, or similar).+ Excellent communication, customer service, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.+ Ability to manage workstation and server environments, including setup, customization, testing, and maintenance.+ Ability to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot system hardware and software.+ Experience with system performance tuning, backup and recovery, and documentation best practices.+ Ability to train, mentor, and support users and team members.Preferred Qualifications+ Experience supporting OnCore CTMS+ Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) 2003 or later+ Familiarity with clinical trial workflows, regulatory requirements, and research data management.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Jackson, MS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.Comprehensive, state-backed benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, life insurance, disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, and optional supplemental insuranceWorkplace TypeThis is a fully remote position.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Mar 31, 2026.Diversity, Equity & InclusionAt Actalent, diversity and inclusion are a bridge towards the equity and success of our people.
