Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older to meet state licensing requirements for childcare providers
Must be able to pass state-mandated background check
Certification in first aid and CPR or willingness to be trained (we'll help!)
Must be able to safely lift and carry children up to 30 lbs. and participate in active play, including sitting on the floor, kneeling, and bending
Duties
Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants to pre-kindergarten children
Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, nap time supervision, and hygiene support
Foster a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
Monitor children’s behavior and apply effective behavior management strategies to ensure a positive atmosphere
Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and share developmental milestones
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, attendance, and developmental observations
Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness
Skills
Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings preferred
Excellent classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment
Ability to handle caregiving tasks such as infant care, toddler care, feeding routines, and diapering with compassion and professionalism
Skilled in behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions among young children
Effective communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and support staff

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
