Sapphire Center for Rehab & Nursing a 5 Star long term skilled nursing facility has immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic CNA’s for all shifts. Under supervised professional and skilled guidance, our CNAs give direct nursing care to assigned residents and perform other services necessary for their personal and comforts needs. We look forward to meeting with you to discuss professional opportunities at our facility.Job Responsibilities / Duties:Promotes resident hygiene and comfortDistributes food/water and feeds residentsAssists with repositioning and transferring residentsAmbulates and transports residentsRecords and totals fluid intake and outputWeighs residentsDocuments activities on flow sheetsAssists with admission, discharge and postmortem careResponds to call lights in a timely mannerPerforms perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy careReports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge NurseTakes and records vital signsMakes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in orderPrepares room for housekeeping after resident dischargeSkill / Experience Requirements.Current NY CNA Certification.Previous Long Term Care experience a plus.New Graduates WelcomeWilling to TrainABOUT US:Sapphire Center for Rehab & Nursing is a premier 5 Star skilled nursing facility.
