As a Senior Python backend engineer specializing in AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision. You will lead our efforts to enhance and deploy AI-driven sports tracking models across our global video systems. Responsibilities Lead the training and deployment of sports-tracking models to our video systems for multiple sports, ensuring the technology can scale and integrate seamlessly Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for real-time sports tracking and analysis Utilize Python, along with tools like FFmpeg and AWS S3, to build robust backend services Maintain and improve code quality through best practices, including peer code reviews and automated testing Work with your team and stakeholders to define, design, implement, test, and deliver quality software products in a fast-paced environment Construct and support integrations that are easy to manage, maintain, customize, and configure Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies to propose and implement enhancements and optimizations to current systems Contribute to the development of technical documentation and system architecture diagrams Technologies Core: Python, FFmpeg, AWS S3 Computer Vision Libraries: OpenCV, PyTorch, VidGear, Matplotlib, Numpy Qualifications Advanced proficiency in Python, with a strong background in computer vision (2+ years) Nice-to-Have: Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, and object-tracking technologies Self-driven team member of a high-performing development team who cares about the team culture and takes pride in the outcome of the teamwork Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience At least five years of commercial software development experience, with a demonstrated track record in deploying robust backend solutions At least 2 years of experience developing and deploying computer vision technologies in a commercial setting Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is preferred, as well as a proven ability to adapt and quickly leverage new technologies We offer Work your way — anywhere, anytime.
