Electronics Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer III to join our engineering team focused on the design and development of high-performance Enterprise Solid-State Drive (SSD) products. This role will be responsible for complex PCB layout design activities, collaborating with global cross-functional engineering teams, and driving designs from schematic netlists through manufacturing release.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cadence Allegro PCB Layout, experience with high-speed digital designs, and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a global engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop complex rigid and rigid-flex PCB layouts for Enterprise SSD products.
Complete PCB designs from schematic netlist input through final ODB++/Gerber file generation.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including:
Mechanical Engineering
Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI)
Thermal Engineering
TCT Specialists
Partner with global engineering teams across India, Malaysia, Israel, and Korea.
Work closely with fabrication and manufacturing vendors to resolve DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and production-related issues.
Investigate and implement best-in-class PCB design methodologies, materials, processes, and tools.
Solve complex packaging, placement, and routing challenges with creativity and technical expertise.
Design and route high-speed interfaces including:
DDR Memory
PCIe
NAND Flash Buses
Develop layouts involving:
Blind vias
Through-hole vias
Micro-via structures
Advanced constraint-driven routing methodologies
Participate as a key contributor within a highly collaborative engineering team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of PCB Layout Design experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro PCB Layout.
Proven experience designing complex multilayer rigid and rigid-flex PCBs.
Experience generating manufacturing deliverables including ODB++ and Gerber files.
Strong understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly processes, and DFM principles.
Experience routing high-speed digital interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, and NAND.
Ability to work independently as a self-starter while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with System Capture.
Experience with EDM library management.
Knowledge of enterprise storage, SSD, or data center hardware products.
Familiarity with advanced PCB materials and manufacturing technologies.
Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams.
