Operator
Good communication skills are important to the success of this position. Must be able to read, write, and speak English well. The position requires the ability to perform basic math skills and to follow both written and verbal instructions. A positive attitude, high degree of reliability and good performance will be expected.

- Chemical Background (working with chemicals) / or Refinery

- Disconnecting and Connecting hoses
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Reports to and receives instruction from the Production Group Leader. Works with and accepts direction from A and B Operators.
2. Must be able to operate necessary equipment (i.e. pumps, hoses, valves, air lines, Charging systems, forklift trucks) in the manufacturing of or packaging of products.
3. Responsible for making proper line ups from storage tanks to vessels and containers and ensuring the correct Quality Assurance Department approved material is used. Transferring out of vessels to storage tanks totes or tank trucks is also included in job responsibility.
4. Must adhere to all government regulations and corporate policies regarding safety, personnel, emissions and waste as they apply to the manufacturing department.
5. Responsible for keeping areas in clean and safe condition. Must help maintain the equipment in good working order by proper operation and notifying maintenance of any deficiencies.
6. Responsible for the transfer of information between other operators during operation of the plant and the upkeep of unit/plant documentation.
7. Insure we meet quality requirements as prescribed by packaging instructions and pull all necessary sample for lab testing.
8. Insures packaged materials are labeled and placarded in accordance with company and governmental regulations.
9. Inspect packaging components to ensure they meet quality requirements in order to package the product.
10. Must be able to learn to operate (start up, operation, shut down) of certain plant utility equipment (cooling towers, boilers, air compressors, water systems).
13. Must be able to Able to lift and move 50# (22.68kg) as part of daily work function. After Dr. evaluation, use of respirator equipment for personal safety. Able to wear other PPE for extended times for hazardous work environment.
14. Supports all RC14001 Environmental, Health, Safety, Safety and Security Systems and the facility’s EHS & S Improvement Process plans and goals.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
