This position is 90-day temporary to permanent and works alongside experienced, dependable team members. Training will be provided to learn powder coating processes on both conveyor lines and batch booths. Applicants must complete an print test and interview.Position Responsibilities:Perform manual powder coating (non-automated) on conveyor systemsTape/mask parts using heat-resistant tape; plug and cap components as requiredUse an Exacto knife and demonstrate fine tactile skillsLoad and unload parts from conveyor linesFollow detailed instructions and retain process knowledgeRead and interpret prints and schematicsMaintain high attention to detail to ensure defect-free productsAssist various departments as needed based on production needsParticipate in cross-training across the shopMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaUphold fast-paced job shop standards and meet physical demands of the role Position Requirements:Minimum 2+ years of powder coating experience, preferably manual spraying on a conveyor systemPrevious experience in a manufacturing or job shop environmentAbility to read and understand drawings, schematics, and work instructionsFamiliarity with hand tools; ISO knowledge helpfulHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong print reading and interpretation abilitiesAbility to follow precise instructions and maintain accuracyCompetency in using basic hand tools and preparation equipmentAbility to learn powder coating operations on both conveyor and batch systems Other Requirements:Must pass print test and interviewTobacco-free and substance-free workplaceOvertime may be requiredMust meet all pre-employment screening requirementsCrown Staffing provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
