Job Description The Sr. Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring efficient and safe operations. This role performs advanced machine setup, monitors production quality, and may assist in training junior operators.This job profile is intended for experienced support-level staff that generally works autonomously and only requires closer supervision in non-routine situations.Manual MachinistYour Main Tasks And ResponsibilitiesWork closely and clearly communicate with the other departments, Machine personnel, Supervisor, and LeadCapable of operating all machines in the shop (including large mills, lathes, stripping machine, peening machine, tool post grinders, and other equipment)Planning –Work with Department Supervisor to develop a machine plan:Determine what tools will be required prior to starting the machine processTo Succeed In This Role, You Will NeedMust have manual machining experienceExperience working with turbo machinery is a plusMust have the required tools to perform their expected tasks or ability to acquire.Must be able to work overtime as neededMust be able to use precision measuring instrumentsCompany Description RCS Personnel is a staffing company who works with customers seeking to fill their skilled, light industrial and administrative positions.
