We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager that has a demonstrated work history that shows a pattern of continuous improvement and focus to keep production machinery running. Within the maintenance department strategies and processes need to be developed or enforced to facilitate the maintenance of equipment and facilities which includes HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics, engineering, building maintenance, welding, and fabrication while maintaining the safety of fellow employees, the community, and the environment.
Your Role at a Glance
This role leads the strategic direction and day-to-day performance of the maintenance organization. You will oversee planning, budget management, and work execution to ensure reliable and efficient facility operations. Key responsibilities include inspecting the facility, hiring and developing maintenance professionals, procuring parts and equipment, and documenting activities within our computerized maintenance management system (SAP). You will assign and prioritize work, coordinate with contractors and service providers, and develop maintenance schedules to support operational goals.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
10 years of maintenance/technical/manufacturing experience overall preferred
SAP PM experience a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels
Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and a strong sense of urgency in delivering results
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adjust quickly, and execute with minimal oversight
Collaborative leadership style that builds trust, encourages teamwork, and fosters continuous improvement

Ability to lead change, challenge the status quo, and drive innovative, cost-effective solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Experience developing and executing action plans that drive measurable results
Solid technical understanding of equipment, systems, and maintenance operations, including reliability practices and methodologies (e.g., RCA, RCM, predictive maintenance)
Knowledge of engineering fundamentals (mechanical, electrical, utilities) and equipment design/maintainability
Experience with project management principles including planning, cost control, scope definition, and risk assessment
Familiarity with construction practices, regulatory compliance, and technical documentation
Working knowledge of manufacturing/operations environments, including lean principles (5S, standard work, value stream mapping) and GMPs
Ability to evaluate vendors, equipment, and operational processes to improve performance
