Machine Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a Machine Maintenance Technician who will help to maintain production and quality by ensuring the proper operation/upkeep of machinery and mechanical equipment in the production department.Machine Maintenance Technician 2nd ShiftYour main responsibilities will be:Repair, install and adjust a variety of industrial machinesControl downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance and monitoring compliance.Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listen for problems; use precision measuring and test instruments.Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.Execute preventative maintenance plans and maintain PM program on all production equipment.Execute production machinery repairs includes fixing, repairing and performing troubleshooting.Execute production machinery maintenance entails scheduling, planning and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance job duties under the recommendations of the facilities organizationOrder repair parts and maintain required documentsPerform other work-related duties as assignedEnsure all machinery comply with OSHA safety standards and have all required machine guarding required.Job Requirements:Extensive experience with basic hand tools and troubleshooting equipmentExperience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systemsAbility to read & interpret maintenance manuals and schematicsFamiliarity with PLC troubleshooting & programming preferredAbility to communicate with equipment suppliers to aid in troubleshooting.Proven experience working in a manufacturing environmentOrganized & resourcefulBasic computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office applicationsFormal civilian or military training in the above-mentioned fields or equivalent work experience.We offer:Tuition Reimbursement Program- We encourage team members to continue their education to support their current or future work.We offer a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental and Vision options.Company-paid Life insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability insurance, and Parental leave.401(k) retirement account with a generous company matchPhenomenal work life balance offering twenty (20) days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per calendar year.Holidays totaling eleven days (11) per calendar year including a floating holiday of employee's choice.Career advancement and training opportunitiesWe welcome candidates from all backgrounds and are dedicated to providing an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.EEO compliant employer
