Contract Administrator
GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team. This position is full-time and will serve the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN in a hybrid capacity. This role is anticipated to be short-term (2-3 months) with possibility of extension.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ year of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Clearance Level Required:
Uncleared - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Clearance

Overview:
Assist in management of the CNS prime contract at the Y-12 National Security Complex.
Performs general contract administration.
Uses Federal Acquisition Regulation principles.
Provides allowable costs guidance.
Assists individuals in completing forms and cover letters.
Supports formal requests to the customer for funding increases or schedule impact approvals.
Coordinates resolution of issues related to requests and tracks status of requests.
Participates in the Prime Contract modification process.
Maintains Agreements on the internal Prime Contracts website.
Reviews relevant Contract Management processes such as internal business expense controls, Work for Others, Memorandum Purchase Orders (MPO)/Inter-contractor Purchase (ICP)/Inter-Entity Work Orders (IEWO), Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)/Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and Work Authorizations.
Assists in preparing and organizing materials for meetings, presentations, training sessions.
Drafts correspondence and prepares reports as assigned.
Clearance & Citizenship Requirement:
To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
Due to the nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.
About the Site:
The NNSA's Y-12 National Security Complex, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is the nation’s only source of enriched uranium nuclear weapon components and provides enriched uranium for the U.S. Navy as well as excels in materials science, precision manufacturing, and stores enriched uranium. Y-12 supports efforts to reduce nuclear proliferation risk and performs work for other government agencies (energy.gov).
