We are looking for candidates who share our passion for tackling complexity head-on, to help build platforms that can scale through multiple orders of magnitude, while building and supporting a world class team. Your core responsibility would be to support and drive planning, prioritization and program execution to ensure high availability of our platform services.MedSleuth/DaVita's MedSleuth BREEZE teams interact with a broad array of customer facing teams, internal business and engineering teams, and MedSleuth/DaVita partners to deliver a scalable and secure mix of clinical SaaS services. This requires a comprehensive understanding of distributed systems at an enterprise scale, a focus on customer satisfaction and success, and a relentless drive to focus on high-value projects and to prioritize ruthlessly.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in web and cloud infrastructure built through a heterogenous stack of infrastructure, platforms and products. They will have experience in supporting and growing teams. Additionally, they will have experience working with data (analytics/insights experience, knowledge of database query languages, and/or broad experience in using data for product decision making), and the ability to build influence by example. Relevant experience is important, but ultimately less than your demonstrated abilities and attitude.Support and collaborate with various product and platform teams including compute, network and storage cloud infrastructure teamsHelp define the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams that you are working withPartner with cloud and security teams to plan and execute against a broad array of business and product needsWork closely with dedicated recruiting staff to expand the team, including sourcing candidates, interviewing candidates, participating in conferences/events, and onboarding new employeesBalance the need to "keep things running" with allocating time to long-term, high-impact projectsAssess employee performance frequently, address under-performance, and recognize and promote excellent performanceBS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experienceMBA or advanced operations degree preferred8+ years of work experience in the field of Information Technology4+ years management experience in a technology companyExperience growing a team that optimizes for execution, including attracting talent and building out gaps in the existing teamExperience moving technical or engineering programs or products from inception to delivery, and experience articulating the impact using metrics, growth examples, return, etc.Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
