Position SummaryWe are growing and have an immediate opening for a qualified safe and courteous professional Truck Driver (CDL-A) in Jacksonville Terminal for a local city and port pick-up and delivery driving position! We provide a great work environment and believe in quality customer service in every avenue of logistics solutions!Your Day-to-DayHandle local deliveries/pick up within the Jacksonville, FL surrounding areaPlan routes daily and follows those delivery schedulesComplete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileageObserve and report equipment or mechanical failures immediatelyManage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possibleFind ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the businessServe as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the publicConduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to managementTools For SuccessGood customer service with internal and external customersGood AttendanceReliableAbility to work independently and in a team settingSelf-motivatedResponsibleOrganizedEducation And ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience preferredMinimum 2 years of commercial driving experience;Ability to Drive a Manual Transmission RequiredMinimum 21 years of ageMust have less than 3 minor moving violations, and no major moving violations;Valid Florida Class A license;Clean Motor Vehicle Report, (showing 10-year driving history) within 30 days of presentation;Experience with refrigerated & frozen product, preferred;Hazardous Material Endorsement / TSA (preferred)TWIC Card (will be required)Pallet jack and hand truck experience requiredForklift experience is a plusBenefitsPaid bi-weekly!Paid Time Off benefits!Paid Holidays!Health Insurance – employer pays a co-contribution!Life and AD&D Insurance!401 (k) Retirement Plan with employer match!Safe work environment!!Home Daily!
