QA Technician Powder 2nd Shift
General Summary:Performs a variety of Quality Assurance duties including but not limited to inspecting material for quality issues safely and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Accurately perform and document required quality tests using appropriate tools and software.Monitor production for quality issues, promptly report concerns to leadership, and follow Quality Management System requirements including handling non-conforming parts and corrective actions.Read, understand, and execute work instructions while serving as a quality resource for team members on basic production and quality matters.Safely operate hand tools and quality testing equipment while properly wearing required personal protective equipment.Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas to support efficient workflow and employee/customer safety; use materials efficiently and report low supplies.Establish effective workflow based on product and task priorities and perform additional duties as assigned by supervision. WHO YOU AREKnowledge of quality inspection standards normally acquired through six (6) months experience in a similar position required.Must have good attention to detail in order to visually identify minute imperfections or defects.Proficiency with computer use including word processing and spreadsheet programs.Must have good data entry skills and accuracy.Previous experience with small hand tools and quality inspection tools is beneficial.Ability to work in a team or independently.
