We are advancing a diverse pipeline and delivery platform in the pursuit of uniting experts in science, technology, disease management, and care.Patient-focused and founded by those directly impacted by Duchenne, Solid’s mission is to improve the daily lives of patients living with devastating rare diseases.Solid Biosciences is seeking a Vice President of Managed Markets to lead the development and execution of the company’s comprehensive U.S. and Global market access strategy. This individual will play a key leadership role in preparing for and supporting product launch by ensuring broad, sustainable access to therapies through effective payer strategies, pricing and contracting frameworks, field access deployment, and integrated patient support solutions.This role will also be responsible for leading HEOR planning and evidence generation to support the value proposition of Solid Biosciences’ therapies. The successful candidate will bring deep experience in market access, a strategic mindset, and a collaborative approach to working across Medical Affairs, Commercial, and external stakeholders.Key Position ResponsibilitiesSet and lead the overarching managed markets strategy to support pricing, reimbursement, and access objectives across all payer segmentsDevelop pricing, contracting, and channel strategies to support the launch and lifecycle of Solid Biosciences’ gene therapy productsDesign and implement the payer engagement strategy, including development of core access materials, value propositions, and payer advisory initiativesBuild and execute a scalable field access strategy, including definition of field roles, deployment plans, and coordinated messaging with commercial and medical teamsOversee development of the health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) plan to support the clinical and economic value of Solid Biosciences’ therapiesPartner cross-functionally with Regulatory, Legal, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial to ensure access strategies are aligned with overall business objectives and compliant with relevant laws and regulationsGuide internal and external communications regarding market access and patient support programsBuild and lead a high-performing team, both corporate and field-based, across market access functionsServe as a key external representative with payers, policy makers, trade organizations, and patient advocacy groupsExperience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business, public health, life sciences, or related field required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, or equivalent) preferredMinimum of 15+ years of experience in market access, pricing, reimbursement, within the biopharmaceutical industryStrong experience with U.S. and Global payers, distribution models, and specialty product access pathwaysExperience in rare disease, gene therapy, or other high-science therapeutic areas preferredTrack record of developing patient-centric support models and payer strategies in preparation for launchDeep knowledge of relevant compliance, legal, and regulatory considerations for market access programsExperience building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams in a dynamic environmentMinimal travel required; travel may include payer meetings, conferences, and internal cross-functional planningKey Position AttributesDeep understanding of U.S. and Global market access landscape, pricing dynamics, payer systemsStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex access and value topics across stakeholder groupsProven leadership in building and managing cross-functional teamsAbility to influence internal and external stakeholders in a matrixed organizationHigh level of initiative, accountability, and collaborationCompensationThe base compensation range for this role is: $295,000 - $372,873Base salary offered is determined through an internal analysis utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.Regular employees are eligible to receive both short-term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward individual performance and align incentives to Solid’s long term company performance.Benefits And Solid AdvantagesAt Solid Biosciences we offer a highly competitive total rewards and benefits package, intended to support all aspects of our employees’ lives and well-being.
