Warehouse Operator - 1st Shift

Warehouse Operator FL PL Developments, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods.We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team in Miami, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment, accurately picking and staging orders, performing inventory tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, strong communication and time-management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting while meeting deadlines.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (1st Shift)Job Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent preferred2-5 years warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentAbility to operate warehouse equipment including single/deep reach truck, sit-down forklift, stock picker, electric pallet jack, and scissor liftEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsHigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracyAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExperience with inventory control, equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer systemsBasic math and computer proficiencyDependable, reliable, and safety-focusedCurrent forklift certification preferredExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferredExperience working in a GMP-regulated environment preferredPosition Responsibilities:Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standardsUse handheld devices and forklifts to pick, stage, receive, put away materials, and perform cycle countsAccurately match picked products to packing slips and pick reportsSafely and efficiently operate forklifts to retrieve and store materialsLoad and unload trucks as requiredPerform warehouse transactions including packing, unpacking, RMAs, WIP returns, organization transfers, sub-transfers, sample picks, and replenishmentsUse computer systems to perform inventory inquiries, queue tasks, and run reportsReview and verify both sales orders and work ordersReport damaged products, storage racks, or unsafe conditions to management immediatelyParticipate in physical inventory counts as requiredComplete and verify forklift safety inspection sheets prior to operationMaintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse environmentPerform additional duties as assigned by Manager or SupervisorPhysical Requirements:Comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies and proceduresRegular use of hands for handling, reaching, and operating equipment; ability to communicate and hearRegularly lift and/or move items weighing 10-50 lbs; occasionally lift items over 100 lbs with assistanceFrequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingOccasional sitting, climbing, and balancingVision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception and ability to adjust and focusExposure to chemicals, odors, temperature variations, and prolonged standingBenefits:Medical and Dental BenefitsVision401K with employer matchGroup Life InsuranceFlex Spending AccountsPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysTuition AssistanceCorporate Discount ProgramOpportunities to Flourish Within the CompanyPL Developments is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
