TBK Bank is looking for a AVP, Consumer Accounts Resolution Team Lead to guide our team in managing delinquent consumer loan accounts. This role is perfect for someone who can balance empathy with results, build strong relationships, and keep a cool head under pressure while ensuring compliance with all regulations.Day in the LifeAs the Team Lead, you’ll spend your days guiding a team of skilled professionals, working directly with customers to resolve past-due balances, and helping recover loan assets. You’ll play a key role in shaping strategies, mentoring team members, and ensuring our collections process runs smoothly and effectively.What You’ll Be DoingLead and support the Consumer Accounts Resolution teamWork directly with customers to collect payments and resolve delinquenciesReview collateral and recovery options to determine next stepsRecommend accounts for collection services or charge-offUse skip-tracing tools to locate debtors and collateralMaintain accurate and detailed communication logsPrepare and review delinquency letters and noticesEnsure compliance with bank policies, laws, and regulationsPartner with the Special Assets Group on complex cases when neededProvide coaching, training, and process improvement recommendations to your teamWhat Makes You a Great Fit5+ years of consumer collections experience (required)Bachelor’s degree preferredExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to work independently and make sound decisionsComfortable navigating difficult conversations with professionalism and empathyProficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointA collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with great attention to detailCall to ActionApply now and take the next step in your career.
