Junior Sous Chef
HIDE+SEEK (838 W Randolph) is seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. You’ll assist in cooking, supervising the culinary team, and ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes.
Key Responsibilities
Cooking: Help prepare, cook, and present dishes to the restaurant’s standards.
Team Support: Assist in supervising the kitchen team and training junior staff.
Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet high-quality standards.
Menu Input: Contribute ideas for menu items and daily specials.
Inventory: Help manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.
Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
Problem Solving: Address any issues during service to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
Experience: 5 years in a professional kitchen.
Education: Culinary diploma or equivalent experience.
Skills: Strong cooking skills and attention to detail.
Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and lead by example.
Flexibility: Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
