CNC Machine Operator - Swing Shift

DescriptionAs a CNC Machine Operator, you will operate and support CNC fiber laser and CNC press brake equipment to produce precision cut and formed sheet metal parts. This is a hands-on role focused on machine setup, operation, inspection, and material handling. If you’re excited to join the team and grow with us, we want to hear from you!What You’ll DoSet up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber lasers and CNC press brakesLoad material and unload finished parts from machinesVerify correct programs, tooling, and material prior to running jobsPerform machine startup, shutdown, and routine daily maintenanceInstall and set up punches, dies, and job tooling as requiredRead and interpret 2D and 3D drawings for proper laser and brake setupMeasure parts using gauges and inspection tools to verify angles, dimensions, and overall accuracy meet customer specificationsCollaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they ariseMaintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principlesAssist with inventory of tooling such as punches and diesPerform other related duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishBasic knowledge of CNC systems and machine controlsAbility to read production drawings and flat patternsAbility to use measuring devices and basic hand toolsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to follow work instructions and safety proceduresCommitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience operating CNC fiber lasers or CNC press brakesExperience with Amada equipmentForklift experiencePrior work in a sheet metal or fabrication environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shiftsAbility to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipmentWork EnvironmentManufacturing and production floor environmentWork performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, and material handling equipmentExposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materialsUse of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all timesBenefitsMedical, Dental, & Vision coveragePaid holidays + PTO401K with company match Tuition reimbursement Paid parental leave Short-term disability Lunch provided daily Employee discount on parts ScheduleMonday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:00am
