Route Driver CDL

PURPOSE: To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.JOB SUMMARY: Operate company truck to pick up and deliver hospital linen at multiple medical facilities. Load and unload laundry carts. Establish professional relationship with customers and provide quality customer service. Represent the company professionally in appearance, conduct, and performance while at customer locations. Safe operation of company vehicles, including pre and post route inspections. Maintain DOT compliance and follow hours of service rules. Follow standard vehicle operating procedures.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Have excellent attendanceMeet established route schedulesHave good communication and customer service skillsFollow all company safety rulesBe able to work well with a diverse workforceBe able to follow directions given by their supervisor or managerFollow all company policies and proceduresPossess and maintain a positive attitudeMaintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policiesDeliver the product to our customers in a timely mannerBe able to work past the schedule, as production/delivery issues may ariseAbility to properly maintain required daily and weekly paperworkPerform a daily visual inspection of the equipmentPerform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fitADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:* Cross-train on other routes per department needs* Perform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as neededMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per dayBe able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs.
