Safety Coordinator

Role: Safety Coordinator Duration: 12 Months Location: Princeton, Indiana Description: There would Overtime: 25% Travel -20% Domestic travel Detailed Description of Responsibilities Work with contractors to implement construction safety mgmt system & other safety requirements on Toyota construction sites. Provide safety leadership for new construction & building and lab renovations including mechanical & electrical equipment installation. Conduct formal safety audit of activities related to construction and mechanical & electrical equipment installation. Review contractor JSA's to confirm completeness & accuracy of work being performed. Requirements: Safety engineering degree is not required but is considered to be a positive if candidate has obtained. OSHA 30 Experience working on construction projects with multiple subtrades. Experience with various parts of construction: site/civil work, structural steel, electrical & mechanical. Experience reviewing and verifying JSA's developed by contractors. Proficient in Microsoft: PowerPoint & Excel Job Type: Contract Pay: $44.00 - $54.00 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: EHS: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Princeton, IN 47670 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Princeton, IN 47670: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
