IT Business Development Executive

Our client is seeking a local Business Development Executive to join a growing organization focused on delivering technology and consulting solutions to large enterprise clients. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities while building strong, long-term client relationships. The Business Development Executive will engage with senior business and technology leaders to understand their challenges and objectives, and work collaboratively with internal advisors and technical experts to develop solutions that drive meaningful outcomes for clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder with a strong “hunter” mentality who is passionate about solving complex business problems and introducing consulting and technology capabilities to enterprise organizations. This role partners closely with senior sales and marketing leadership to execute go-to-market strategies and expand new enterprise client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Lead GenerationIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within large enterprise organizationsGenerate leads through research, networking, referrals, partnerships, and marketing initiativesDevelop and manage a pipeline of prospective clientsClient Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders and key decision-makersUnderstand client business goals, challenges, and strategic prioritiesSolution SellingCollaborate with internal advisory and technical teams to design and present tailored solutions, including strategy engagements, assessments, architecture, and technology implementation initiativesGuide clients through problem discovery and solution developmentSales Process ManagementManage opportunities through the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract closeMaintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast data in CRM systemsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with marketing, pre-sales, and delivery teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and successful project executionIndustry EngagementRepresent the organization at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate new business leadsQualifications5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in technology consulting, IT services, or SaaSDemonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targetsExperience selling to enterprise-level organizationsStrong understanding of enterprise technology solutions such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise platforms, or digital transformation initiativesExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to engage and build credibility with C-level executives and technical leadershipExperience using CRM platforms to manage pipeline and sales activitySelf-motivated with strong prospecting skills and the ability to operate independentlyExperience selling consulting or advisory servicesFamiliarity with solution-based selling methodologiesExisting professional network within relevant industries is a plusWillingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as neededCompensation & BenefitsCompensation includes a competitive base salary plus commission, with total earnings aligned to experience and performance.The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package including:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid holidays and Unlimited PTORemote-first, flexible work environment
