This leadership role is ideal for a client-focused tax professional who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor, developing long-term client relationships, mentoring staff, and contributing to the strategic growth of the firm.Tax Director Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor on tax planning, compliance, and business matters.Review and oversee complex tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and closely held businesses.Mentor and develop tax staff and managers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.Drive practice growth through client retention, business development, and participation in firm leadership initiatives.Tax Director QualificationsCPA license required with 8+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience.Strong technical expertise in tax planning, consulting, and compliance for privately held businesses and individuals.Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team development skills with interest in a path to Partner.
