Strategic Design ConsultantUST is looking for a talented and creative Senior SAP Professional. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to define long-term vision and strategy for different finance business capabilities (e.g. Treasury, Accounting, Tax, etc) from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.The OpportunityUnder the guidance of Consultant II, work closely with the client business and account leadership teams to align transformation programs with underlying technical solutions to business needs.Works with stakeholders at every level of the organization soliciting strategic imperatives from senior leaders and executives; supporting business unit managers as they leverage business architecture and product development artifacts to create and implement client business plans.Provide direct input into the governance cycle that supports the achievement of key goals, planning, and execution of various scenarios, and delivery of bottom-line value for the businessHelp client business and leadership team with problem definitionCollaborate and contribute to business and technology consulting projects to deliver client objectivesPerform assessments of client business processes, organizational change, IT processes, and technology landscape; identifying transformational recommendationsDevelop a business and technical architecture strategy based on situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations.Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise.Capture the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.Describe the primary business functions of the enterprise and distinguish between customer-facing, supplier-related, business execution, and business management functions.Define the set of strategic, core, and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries; identify and describe external entities such as customers, suppliers, and external systems that interact with the business; and describe which people, resources, and controls are involved in the processes.What You Need10+ years of proven work experience in SAP Finance, corporate finance solutions, managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, development, and support of internally facing products preferredAbility to craft clear, compelling recommendations supported by strong analysis and business logic, and articulate them to the organization to gain support for recommendationsAbility to articulate in documenting requirements, writing functional specs and user stories including story acceptance criteria for the engineering teamSolid business background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in financial applications such as SAP, Ariba, Concur, and tax solutions. This includes managing system requirements, evaluating products and solutions, design, integration, implementation, and maintenance of corporate revenue applications.Well-versed in defining roadmaps and delivering with teams that employ agile software development methodologiesAbility to assess and report on the results of initiatives versus their expected impactProven ability to operate effectively and autonomously in time-sensitive situations of extreme ambiguity, with only high-level directionExceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences as well as communicating as effectively to individual contributors as you do with executivesStrong influencing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships, build credibility and trust with team members and Senior Leadership leveraging a dynamic leadership presenceThey must also have a varied technical background which includes object-oriented development in ABAP.This senior engineer must be able to work effectively with globally staffed cross-functional teams, manage multiple work tasks simultaneously, and deliver complex object-oriented engineering solutions across a highly integrated landscape.The scope of the work includes solution design, project-centered implementation, features implementation, enhancements, and ongoing support.Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington as set forth below.Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for RoleCalifornia: $90,000 - $136,000 Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
