Data Platform Engineer (Oracle EBS Application DBA)
Overview
In this role you will design and maintain our database landscape to ensure data accuracy, security, and reliability. ResponsibilitiesPlan and document database structures, security controls, and operational guidelinesEnsure data accuracy in master files and dictionariesMaintain security and integrity of data resources and enforce policiesPropose and implement enhancements to improve performance and reliabilityProvide preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and rapid issue resolutionManage E-Business Suite 12.2.x, WebLogic, and Oracle Database 19cSupport hosted data platforms and related servicesParticipate in architecture discussions and influence product roadmapMaintain and migrate to newer tech stacks and architecturesPerform system administration including patching, backup, recovery, and cloningTroubleshoot and resolve issues in EBS and integrated applicationsDeploy, upgrade, relocate, and decommission database servers on-prem and in the cloudProvide advanced support for Oracle EBS and database issues
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferredMinimum 5+ years of experienceComprehensive experience with Oracle 19c or newer RAC on Linux/Unix (install, create, patch, tune, backup, recovery)Expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2.x administration (upgrades, migrations, application support)Proficiency with Oracle WebLogic Server lifecycle (install, configuration, patching, upgrading)Strong Linux/Unix experience and shell scriptingExperience building custom automation/monitoring tools for large-scale distributed systemsExcellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills with ability to prioritizestrong analytical thinkingexcellent communicationteam collaborationOracle 19c RAC on Linux/UnixOracle EBS R12.2.x administrationOracle WebLogic Server lifecycle
