We deliver innovative solutions in Plasma Etch, Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD), and Wafer Wet Cleaning, supporting complex, high-tech multi-service projects worldwide.Position OverviewWe are seeking skilled Field Service Engineers for our Phoenix, AZ location. This hands-on role focuses on the installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment in cleanroom environments.We prefer candidates with direct semiconductor industry experience; however, we welcome candidates with strong transferable skills, particularly in electromechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of complex equipment. Candidates with mechanical experience gained through military service are strongly encouraged to apply.All new hires will travel to Taiwan for a comprehensive paid training program lasting 3–6 months (all travel expenses covered).During the first 9–12 months, this role will require travel to various locations across North America or internationally for on-the-job training.This is a full-time, permanent position with complete benefits.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality on-site repair and maintenance of complex electro-mechanical systems, including component and unit replacementInstall and relocate customer equipment, execute start-up procedures, and conduct system qualificationsUse diagnostic tools and test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficientlyEnsure outstanding customer satisfaction while adhering to strict safety and cleanroom protocolsMaintain accurate service records, reports, and inventory documentationCollaborate on project planning and coordination with internal teams and customersRequirementsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical-thinking skillsProfessional demeanor with excellent customer-facing communication abilitiesValid driver’s licenseProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteSolid organizational and project-management capabilitiesAbility to work flexible shifts and travel domestically/internationally as neededPreferred Qualifications2+ years maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting semiconductor capital equipmentPrevious electromechanical field service experience on complex automated systems (any industry)Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent military/technical training)Experience working in cleanroom environments is a plusMandarin or Taiwanese language skills are advantageous but not requiredPhysical RequirementsComfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in awkward positionsAbility to lift/carry up to 35 lbsFrequent bending, stooping, crawling, and climbing as neededFull use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in cleanroom and hazardous-production environmentsTravel & TrainingInitial 3–6 month training assignment in Taiwan (fully paid, expenses covered)Ongoing domestic and occasional international travel (approximately 50%)Relocation assistance to the Phoenix area is availableWhy Join Lexas Technologies US?You’ll work with cutting-edge semiconductor equipment in a supportive, growth-oriented environment that values expertise, initiative, and continuous learning.
