Sr. Research Project Coordinator (DOM General Internal Medicine)

< We are seeking aSr. Research Project Coordinatorwho will oversee the day-to-day activities of a single complex or multiple research projects and makes independent decisions that impact the conduct of the research. Assists in goal setting and creating implementation plans. Contributes to budget formulation, communications, and data systems.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist Principal Investigator or more senior research staff to ensure operational feasibility of proposed protocol/study design.Develop standard operating procedures and data collection forms based on understanding of underlying study design.Develop or oversee design and implementation of study procedures and tools for data collection, e.g. participant interviews, administer questionnaires, background research, laboratory processing, etc.Ensure compliance with all protocols, procedures, and applicable regulations.Participate in developing study budget.Set up data collection system and ensure validity of study data.Organize and quality control study dataRecommend and implement changes to protocol operations based on results and goals.Conduct literature searches to provide background information.Abstract and index information based on knowledge of subject matter.Other duties as assigned.Technical Skills & Expected Level of Proficiency Analytical Skills - DevelopingData Management and Analysis - DevelopingLiterature Reviews - DevelopingOral and Written Communication - DevelopingProject Coordination - DevelopingRegulatory Compliance - DevelopingResearch Data Quality Assurance - DevelopingResearch Design - DevelopingResearch Technical Proficiency - DevelopingResource Management - DevelopingThe core technical skills listed are most essential; additional technical skills may be required based on specific division or department needs.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a related field.Three years of related experience.Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in a related field.Classified Title: Sr. Research Project Coordinator Role/Level/Range: ACRP/03/MBStarting Salary Range: $41,300 - $72,300 Annually ($62,000 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)Employee group: Full TimeSchedule: M-F 9a - 5pFLSA Status:ExemptLocation: Hybrid/School of Medicine Campus Department name: SOM DOM General Internal Medicine Personnel area: School of Medicine >
