Hematology/Oncology Physician

Locum Hematology/Oncology Opportunity Oregon Bay Area Hospital is seeking a Locum Hematology/Oncology physician to provide outpatient cancer care coverage due to physician retirement and relocation.Position Details:Outpatient coverage at a free-standing cancer centerMinimum commitment of two weeks per month with ongoing coverage neededSchedule: 4 5 days per week, 8:30 AM 4:30 PM, with administrative time availableShared call rotation of 1:4, including seven days of call with one weekendAverage outpatient volume of patients per dayInpatient rounding required only when patients are admitted for chemotherapyEMR: EpicPractice Environment:Team currently includes three physicians and two advanced practice providersRadiation oncology services available onsitePatient mix is primarily oncology-focused, with limited benign hematology casesRequirements:Board Certified in both Hematology and OncologyOregon medical license preferred; willingness to obtain acceptedDEA requiredAbility to obtain medical staff privilegesClean malpractice and background history highly preferredCAQH login required at time of offerNPDB self-query required at time of presentationAdditional Details:Estimated credentialing timeframe: 6 8 weeksOrientation includes required EMR trainingLodging accommodations provided
