We offer a desirable Monday -Thursday schedule with 3 day weekends. We are open to hiring 1 FT doctor or 2 PT doctors with flexible scheduling to split the week. What We Offer (Compensation & Benefits) Medical and Dental insurance Bonus incentives Daily and Quarterly bonuses Malpractice insurance coverage for 32 hr/week coverage 401K option What You Will Need (Requirements) A keen sense and ability to connect with patients and establish trust quickly Self-motivated Optometrist who can excel in a leadership role The ideal candidate will have expertise converting patients into ocular surface treatments: TearCare, Blephex, IPL, RF, nulids, punctal plugs - training available Comfortable fitting scleral lenses, amniotic membranes - training available Experienced in the 4 modalities of myopia management: Misight CLs, atropine, Stellest and Ortho-k with a growth mindset Commitment to the continued growth of expanding our practice A personable, dynamic, and adaptable personality Proficiency in eyewear recommendations and prescriptions Familiarity with Eyefinity EHR - preferred but not required 2 years of private practice experience–preferred but not required A Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree A Valid CA state license to practice optometry Are currently residing within commuting distance of the practice What You Will Do (Job Responsibility) Perform comprehensive eye exams, expert CL fittings, emergency and medical exams Take time to show patients’ prescription changes and prescribe to lifestyle visual needs Collaborate with our staff to maximize and delight each patient encounter. Work closely with our opticians to ensure seamless handoffs in support of eyewear prescriptions, helping with patient flow where needed Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients e.g LASIK, cataracts etc. Commitment to identifying good candidates for dry eye evaluations and effectively explaining options and treatment modalities, training available. Maintain detailed & accurate patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress Refer to proper secondary care, write referral letters and follow-up on your patients Provide support to the practice during downtime as the opportunity arises Understand and abide by HIPAA and latest FTC mandates Pay: $575.00 - $800.00 per day Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Work Location: In person
