The team is known for exceptional craftsmanship, client collaboration, and delivering homes that reflect each client's vision with care and precision.Grainda Builders is hiring an Assistant Construction Manager to oversee high-end residential and commercial projects from pre-construction through final completion. This person will take ownership of assigned projects, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, and ensure each project meets the company's quality standards.The ideal candidate is a confident, grounded leader who communicates clearly, solves problems quickly, and holds teams accountable with professionalism and respect. This role requires strong judgment, urgency, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing sight of quality or client experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage construction projects from pre-construction through completionTake full ownership of project outcomes, schedules, budgets, and team performanceDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plansCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and on-site personnelEnsure work meets safety requirements, building codes, and quality standardsIdentify issues early and implement practical solutions to keep projects on trackCommunicate consistently with clients, architects, designers, and stakeholdersConduct site inspections to monitor progress and qualityMaintain professionalism, accountability, and high standards on every job siteManage multiple projects while balancing deadlines, details, and client expectationsQualificationsProven construction management experience, preferably in high-end residential constructionStrong knowledge of construction processes, materials, sequencing, and best practicesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, schedules, budgets, and client expectationsProficiency with construction project management software such as Buildertrend or similar platformsStrong communication and leadership skillsSound judgment and ability to make timely decisions in high-stakes situationsStrong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindsetProfessional, accountable, and confident leadership stylePay and BenefitsFull-time, W-2 EmploymentPay: $60,000-$75,000 per year, based on experience100% employer-paid employee health insuranceDental and vision are available at employee cost401(k) with 3% contribution after one year of employmentPaid time offOpportunity to work on distinctive high-end residential and commercial projectsGrowth and development opportunities within the companyTypical schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional site needs Why Grainda Builders?At Grainda Builders, you'll lead meaningful, high-quality projects with a team that values craftsmanship, communication, and accountability.
