Shipping Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY:This position is primarily responsible for the execution of all outbound shipments based on a shipping schedule and executing with accuracy within the specific compliance guidelines and regulations.Reports to: Shipping SupervisorPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Performs packaging for all outbound shipments.Ensures shipment accuracy while adhering to internal and external compliance regulations.Helps to determine the best packaging method of materials and products.Package material and load material to ensure safe transport.Provide weekend/ OT coverage as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and neat warehouse always.Maintain a clean working environment by organizing completed slot machine locations in the warehouse/manufacturing areas.Ensure all packaging material is available when needed.Perform the daily activities of the warehouse/shipping as needed.Constantly cross training employees in all areas of operations to establish team development and redundancy.Perform daily maintenance and clean-up of warehouse areas.Act as a backup for order kitting.Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS:ExperienceMust have a minimum of 1-5 years in a distribution environment.Forklift experience required. Knowledge & SkillsExperience with domestic and international packagingExperience in packaging large shipments (slot machines)Must be hands-on, highly organized and detail oriented with strong computer skillsMust be able to multitask Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Stand and walk for extended periods of timePhysical mobility to move from place to place on the job, considering distance and speedPhysical agility to maneuver body while in placePhysical strength to manage routine office materials and toolsPhysical balance to maintain balance and physical controlDexterity of hands, fingers, and feetCoordination, including eye/hand, hand/foot, etc. Work EnvironmentRequired to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise, temperature, and dust.Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming registration.Must be an independent self-starter with a positive attitude.
