Most of our clients are small business environments with approximately 10–25 users.We are a small team looking for a reliable, hands-on IT technician/engineer who enjoys working directly with clients and solving real-world technology problems. This is a mix of onsite and remote support for established local customers.What You’ll DoYou will help support and maintain client networks, workstations, servers, cloud services, and business technology. Typical responsibilities include:Troubleshooting Windows desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and general user issuesSupporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and user accountsInstalling and supporting Dell desktops, laptops, servers, and related hardwareSupporting SonicWall firewalls, EdgeRouter devices, UniFi switches, and UniFi wireless networksTroubleshooting internet, VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and basic network issuesSupporting Windows Server, Active Directory, file shares, permissions, and backupsSetting up new users, workstations, email accounts, and office equipmentPerforming onsite visits for clients in the Reno/Sparks areaWorking with software vendors for medical, legal, and small-business applicationsDocumenting client environments, completed work, and recommended follow-upsHelping maintain secure, reliable, and organized client IT systemsWhat We’re Looking ForThe right person for this role is dependable, practical, and comfortable working with small-business clients. You should be able to troubleshoot independently, communicate clearly with non-technical users, and know when to ask for help or escalate an issue.Required experience:3+ years of hands-on IT support, systems administration, network administration, or MSP experienceStrong Windows desktop troubleshooting skillsExperience with Microsoft 365 administrationBasic to intermediate networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, Wi-Fi, switches, and routingExperience supporting small business users in person and remotelyAbility to communicate professionally with business owners, office managers, and staffReliable transportation for local onsite client visitsStrong follow-through and documentation habitsPreferred experience:MSP or outsourced IT support experienceSonicWall firewall experienceEdgeRouter experienceUniFi switch and wireless experienceDell desktop, laptop, server, or reseller/deployment experienceWindows Server and Active Directory experienceBackup systems, endpoint protection, remote support tools, and ticketing systemsExperience supporting medical or legal officesVoIP phone system experienceHealth insurance paid at 50% available after successful completion of probationary period2 weeks paid vacationPaid holidaysFull-time position with a stable local companySmall team environmentMix of onsite and remote workScheduleThis is a full-time Monday through Friday position.
