For more information about ECCO Select, visit us at www.eccoselect.com.Position Title: Network EngineerLocation Information Albuquerque, NM Position Responsibilities:As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable, secure, and scalable operation of enterprise network infrastructure across both local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) environments. Your primary duties will center around hands-on support, configuration, and troubleshooting of network platforms, hardware, and protocols to uphold optimal connectivity and security. You will work collaboratively with internal teams, support deployments, handle daily network changes, respond to incidents, and participate in project meetings. Routine travel (up to 20%) may be required to support deployments and on-site initiatives. Essential Skills, ExperienceExpertise troubleshooting and supporting enterprise network issues, including both LAN and WAN environments.Experience working with and configuring Cisco and Meraki network platforms, as well as Fortinet FortiGate and FortiSwitch.Proficient in configuring Cisco switching platforms such as 3750x, 9200, and 9300 series, Cisco Nexus, and FortiSwitch, as well as routing platforms like Cisco ASR/ISR, FortiGate, and Meraki.Skilled in installing network hardware and related infrastructure components, and activating/supporting leased WAN circuits.Ability to troubleshoot network protocols and features including Spanning Tree Protocol, EtherChannel/Port Channel configurations, Dot1Q trunking, VLAN Trunking Protocol, 802.1x, DHCP, and Downloadable Access Control Lists.Demonstrated experience troubleshooting WAN technologies, including VRF, routing protocols, IP access control lists, and working with leased circuits.Experience with Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA), including TACACS+.Competence in designing and managing IP address schemes and troubleshooting both client and network connectivity issues.Familiarity with configuring SNMP monitoring and logging tools.Ability to create, review, and maintain network documentation, change scripts, and implementation plans.Experience partnering with security teams to mitigate network threats and maintain a secure operating environment.Capable of collaborating during daily team meetings and participating in project-related discussions to ensure team alignment and project delivery.Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% annually as required for deployments and site support.Qualifications:Associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; equivalent technical training will be considered.Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification strongly preferred. A recently expired certification or equivalent hands-on networking experience will also be accepted.Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in Information Systems, with preference given to candidates with experience in healthcare environments.At least three (3) years of practical networking experience supporting Cisco-based projects and deployments.ECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
