Senior Data Scientist (Credit & ML Systems)New York City (In-Office) | Full-Time | $180k–$250k Base + Bonus + EquityAbout the CompanyWe’re partnered with a high-growth consumer platform using data and machine learning to expand access to credit and purchasing power across emerging markets.The company has already scaled to hundreds of millions in annualized transaction volume and tens of millions in revenue, while building a modern alternative to traditional lending products.Backed by top-tier investors, the team is lean, highly analytical, and deeply product-focused, with leadership experience from some of the world’s most recognizable technology companies.Data Science sits at the core of the business - underwriting quality, pricing accuracy, experimentation, and portfolio performance directly impact growth and profitability across the platform.The RoleThis is a high-impact Data Science role focused on building machine learning and optimization systems that power underwriting, personalization, pricing, and portfolio management decisions.You’ll work across the full lifecycle of modeling and experimentation — from causal inference and forecasting to production ML systems and observability.
