Our work is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and rooted in autonomy and real-life skill development.If you are the kind of recreation therapist who designs sessions around who the person is, not just what their goals say, we want to meet you.What You’ll Be DoingConducting recreation therapy assessments and writing individualized treatment plans or following already completed plansEmbedding functional skill-building into meaningful leisure experiencesSupporting social skills, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and community accessFacilitating community-based sessions (parks, art spaces, movement, volunteering, etc.)Collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teamsWriting clear, ethical documentationPracticing in alignment with client dignity and choiceThis is not a clinic-based, worksheet-driven position.
