Banquet Houseman (Summer 2026)

Martis Camp Club’s banquet team is planning ahead for a wonderful event-filled summer! Our Banquet team is looking for Housemen for the summer season to work private parties and special events held at Martis Camp.POSITION SUMMARY: Set up and break down of each event, clean event space, and return equipment to proper location at conclusion of eventsComplete “pulls” with correct quantities, specifications & delivered to the proper event locationESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and break down of event spacesPull equipment and goods for events in the correct quantities and deliver to the specified locationsSet up, stock, and maintain work areasMaintain cleanliness, organization of storage, and service areasTransport soiled equipment and linen to their designated areas. Pick up washed equipment and linen and restockthe banquet storage areasPolish all the requested equipment for eventsFollow company safety and security procedures, report accidents, incidents, or unsafe areas to the appropriate managerEnsure your appearance is always professional and cleanVerify all sets are completed to BEO (banquet Event Order) specificationsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to interact and develop positive relationships within the organizationBilingual preferred (English / Spanish)Maintain high ethical and moral standards. Excellent verbal skillsExcellent interpersonal and guest service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND LICENSES:1 year of experience in banquets or events is recommended, but not required Must have a valid driver’s license to drive the golf carts (you will only be scheduled alone if you possess a valid driver’s license)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:(with or without accommodations)Ability to lift 75 lbs assisted and 50 lbs without assistanceAbility to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, pull & push to assist with storage cleaning duties and event space maintenance WAGE RANGE: $24 per hourMartis Camp Club is an equal opportunity employer.Powered by JazzHRO9hIDEtUxl
