The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the organization within the market, serving as the public face of the company in the community. This executive will oversee the development and growth of hospital and ambulatory cancer services, as well as cancer outreach programs, and will be accountable for all operations, including strategic planning, budgeting, clinical growth, patient experience, quality, and safety. The role demands a leader with a strong executive presence, the ability to build credibility with a diverse range of stakeholders, and a deep commitment to advancing cancer care, research, and innovation. Applicants for the Market President position at the company should be market CEO-caliber executives with a background in academic medical centers and deep expertise in oncology or cancer center leadership. The role requires the agility to balance long-term strategy with operational and financial execution and a proven track record in leading a mission-driven institution. Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategies that support growth, innovation, and excellence, as well as fostering relationships with external stakeholders.
