Machine Operator

*Lamination Helper – Cary, Crystal Lake. IL* Our client is a family-owned and operated company with over 40 years of experience serving the Diagnostic, Pharmaceutical, and Healthcare Packaging industries. We are currently seeking a dependable machine operators to support the Lamination department and help ensure efficient, high-quality production. *Schedule* * *12-hour shifts* * *8hr shift* * Long-term opportunity with potential for growth *Pay Rate* *$16.00–$25.00 per hour* *Key Responsibilities* As a Lamination Helper, you will work closely with the Lamination Operator to keep production running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include: * Assist with *loading and installing roll stock*, ensuring the correct side is positioned to receive adhesive. * Ensure rolls are properly aligned side-to-side before production begins. * *Mix adhesives* according to established formulas and specifications. * Perform *viscosity checks every 30 minutes* and accurately record results. * Remove completed/full rolls as directed by the Lamination Operator. * Monitor the startup of each roll and verify proper closure. * Immediately report any machine, material, or quality issues to the operator. * Maintain a *clean and organized work area* and perform housekeeping duties as assigned. * Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and production requirements. *What We're Looking For* * *2+ years of complex automotive mechanical experience* (such as disassembling vehicles, replacing engines or transmissions, etc.) *OR previous experience operating Coating, Lamination, or Extrusion machinery is required.* * Ability to read and accurately interpret measurements *up to 1/16 of an inch* using a ruler or tape measure. * Ability to lift up to *65 lbs.* * Ability to push, pull, and maneuver very large rolls of material weighing several hundred pounds using appropriate equipment. * Comfortable standing for most of the shift and performing physical tasks including *squatting, bending, crouching, and kneeling*. * Ability to work around chemicals and tolerate occasional strong odors. * Reliable attendance and a strong willingness to learn. *Additional Requirements* * Must be able to *pass a background check*. * Must be able to *pass a drug test*. * Must be willing and able to work a physically demanding 12-hour shift.
