Dev.Schedule: 2nd ShiftPosition SummaryThe EHS Technician will support EHS programs by assisting with inspections, incident investigations, compliance tracking, and safety initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in OSHA compliance, hazard identification, and safety systems, while leveraging AI tools (Microsoft Copilot & Teams) to improve reporting and decision-making.✅ Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Inspections & Hazard ControlConduct routine safety audits and identify workplace hazardsRecommend corrective actions and support hazard control programsAssist with equipment and facility inspectionsIncident Investigation & ReportingAssist with investigation of injuries, near misses, and environmental incidentsHelp document root causes and track corrective actionsSupport preparation of incident reports and summariesOSHA & Compliance SupportAssist with OSHA recordkeeping (OSHA 300/300A logs)Maintain SDS and safety documentationSupport internal audits and regulatory compliance activitiesTraining & Safety CultureAssist with new hire safety onboarding and training sessionsDevelop toolbox talks and safety communicationsParticipate in safety committee initiatives and program rolloutsData Analysis & Continuous ImprovementTrack safety metrics (inspections, incidents, training completion)Analyze trends and identify improvement opportunitiesSupport implementation of corrective and preventive actionsEnvironmental & EHS Program SupportAssist with environmental compliance and documentationSupport safety and sustainability initiatives across operationsAi-enabled ExperienceUse Microsoft Copilot to generate reports, analyze trends, and create safety communicationsSupport Teams-based tracking for inspections, observations, and reportingAssist in building AI-driven dashboards and digital safety workflowsGain modern, in-demand experience using AI in EHS programsQualificationsHigh School diploma OR pursuing degree in an EHS/business-related fieldStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams); AI tools a plusInterest manufacturing and workplace safetyWhat You’ll GainReal-world OSHA compliance & safety program experienceHands-on incident investigation and risk assessment skillsExposure to environmental compliance and industrial operationsExperience using AI to enhance safety performance
