We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a growing manufacturing operation in Washington. Candidates who communicate clearly, adapt well to change, and bring a strong sense of accountability will thrive in this opportunity.Increase your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.Responsibilities:• Evaluate financial results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support informed business decisions.• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and scenario models that help leadership plan for operational and financial outcomes.• Develop variance reporting and ad hoc analyses, translating complex figures into clear recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.• Manage core accounting activities such as journal entries, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and period-end close processes.• Oversee the accuracy of balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations to maintain reliable financial records.• Partner with teams across branches and sites, including remote collaboration with colleagues in other states.• Contribute financial insight to a multi-location business and provide occasional travel support to branch operations when needed.• Utilize accounting systems, including Sage/ERP platforms, to support reporting, analysis, and daily financial operations.The salary range for this position is $85k to $95k. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with a match and 15 days of paid vacation, 7 days of paid sick leave and 9 paid holidays per calendar year• 10 to 12 years of progressive accounting experience in senior-level financial roles.• Strong background in general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close.• Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance review.• Experience communicating financial concepts to operational partners and colleagues outside of accounting.• Knowledge of multi-state tax considerations is preferred, with California tax exposure considered a strong advantage.• Comfortable working in a team-oriented, blue-collar business environment with a detail-oriented and approachable style. xaygatp • Willingness to collaborate across multiple sites through remote communication and occasional travel.
